I seldom use my blog, and that's a fact. Thinking about getting myself a photo blog connected to my cameraphone, but who knows when that'll happen. Soon? Maybe. Or maybe I do something else, like start publish photographs the old-fashioned way - from my camera, through the computer. But it is all a lot of computer fiddling, taking a lot of time but giving little effect.

Spring is shy this year - it snows and melts and snows again, and the temperature bounces around freezing almost all the time.

I moved to Stockholm, a couple of weeks ago. It feels nice and quite strange to live here again. It was six, seven years ago I last stayed here. Now, Stockholm welcomes me with its usual pulse and lovely frenzy. The subway is efficient and really nice (during daytime, anyway!) and the contrast compared to Ramsele is really - blatantly - obvious.

Other things happening at the moment - computerized embroidery.

Winter isn't really happening, this year. I mean, it is december and stuff, and it is cold and dark, but still ... winter in Ramsele is usually crappier than this.
Anyway, i'm working with machine embroidery these days, and today I completed five more of the 52 name banners I have been making the last week. Just 18 to go! Found some good acrylic sheet plastic today as well - from the old bank that's closing down. I'm a bit bored of Ramsele. Soon it'll be christmas, anyway. I'll go to Halmstad and see the sea, the icy rims of the beach shores and frosen shells and driftwood. Lovely.

Today, I bought really, really good winter tires to my car. They are really, really expensive as well. In fact, thay cost as much as the least expensive car I ever bought. *shiver*
But, I hope they keep me on the icy roads this winter. And the next one. And the next one. It is never nice to flip a car due to rubbish tires.

I'm at home today, doing very little. I had a slight fever a few days ago, and my head felt like cotton wool. Now, slowly, I'm recovering, blowing my nose all the time. Quite boring to be at home when I have so little energy. All I can do is sit in front of the computer, or lay in bed. My TV gave up on me last thursday, a quick fhizz-pop, and suddenly it was a piece of junk. I threw it in a dumpster yesterday. Now I have no TV. It is like waking up from a cuddly dream in a cold bedroom a gray monday morning. No TV.

Holy Cow, it was quite a while since I wrote something in my blog! But I made lemon drops for the first time this week, so I thought I'd better tell the world about it. Now I have.

It's in the middle of summer. Not quite hot, but not very cold either. For Sweden, anyway. It feels like vacation time, but it's not. I'm supposed to do a CD with a presentation of a bunch of artists, who attended a course connecting art and the church. In a week, it needs to be done. I don't even know how to start. Oh, well, I do - I need to select the best pictures I've taken of their different pieces of work during the course (and workshop). I can do that. One step at a time. I'll solve the assembling problem when I know what to put together.
Next week, I'm going south, to Gothemburg, and later Newcastle upon Tyne. A new vacation begins. :)
